Little Genesis Early Learning Centre is owned by Genesis Christian College Ltd and governed by an elected Board of Directors.
Little Genesis has approval to care for 75 children daily. The overarching regulatory body is the Department of Education and Training (DET) which incorporates Early Childhood Education and Care, the authority for children’s services across Australia. Our Centre is regulated by the North Coast Regional Office at North Lakes (07 5433 6106). More information about the regulatory body can be found here.
January 2012 marked the implementation and commencement of the new National Quality Framework (NQF), Australia’s first overarching national strategy for early childhood development. From this date, our Centre has operated under an applied system comprising the Education and Care Services National Law and regulations. Our Centre engages in continual quality improvement and self-assessment and is also rated against the National Quality Standard every one to three years.
Although the centre and the school, Genesis Christian College, share the same campus, they are two separate entities and operate independently of each other. Both have separate enrolment processes and families hoping to progress their children into the Prep year at Genesis Christian College must apply through the College.
